Common Challenges
Your CRM and your ESP speak different languages
Support tickets live in one tool. Marketing lists live in another. When a support ticket turns into an upsell, there's no automatic way to add that customer to a campaign — or to suppress them when they complain.
Compliance is your full-time job, not your marketing tool's
Most marketing platforms offload compliance to you: physical address footers, one-click unsubscribe, suppression lists, consent state per category. We bake it in at the platform level so every send is compliant by default.
You're paying for HubSpot, Intercom, AND a helpdesk
Marketing automation tools can run $800–$3,000/mo before you send a single email. For teams already using AItocha for support, the marketing add-on starts at $49 — because your contact data is already here.
Support never gets credit for the revenue it drives
Your support team resolves a ticket beautifully, the customer becomes a fan, and three months later they buy again — but nobody attributed it. Unified marketing + support closes the loop.
Features
One consent-aware contact record
Customers, leads, and subscribers unified. Every record carries per-category consent state (transactional, service-update, product-announcement, marketing) with a full audit trail. Service interactions auto-grant implied consent under CASL.
Classification-aware sender
Every email is tagged as transactional, service, product, or marketing. The sender automatically picks the right From: domain, checks consent only when required, and injects the compliance footer — no manual routing.
Newsletters, journeys & broadcasts
Build a campaign in minutes, trigger a drip off any event in your platform (ticket resolved, purchase made, NPS survey completed), or schedule a one-off broadcast. Same editor for every send.
Built-in compliance layer
Automatic unsubscribe/preference links, RFC 8058 one-click headers for Gmail & Yahoo, physical-address footer, GDPR erasure, double opt-in, and a preference center — none of which you have to build.
Deliverability that protects your reputation
Auto-suppression on hard bounces and spam complaints. Per-org daily/monthly caps. Dedicated marketing subdomain separate from transactional traffic. Bounce/complaint-rate thresholds auto-pause risky senders.
Revenue attribution end-to-end
Because contacts, tickets, deals, and campaigns live in one DB, you can finally answer: which support interactions led to repeat purchases? Which campaigns drove replies that became tickets?
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the marketing add-on cost extra?
Yes. It starts at $49/month for the Starter tier (5,000 contacts, 20k monthly sends) and is separate from your base CX plan. Add it from the Billing page without changing your base subscription.
What happens to existing contacts when I enable marketing?
All contacts already in your AItocha account (from conversations, import, or web forms) are immediately available in the Marketing contact list. No sync, CSV export, or migration required.
How does consent management work?
Every contact has a consent record per category: transactional, service-update, product-announcement, marketing. Transactional emails send regardless of marketing consent. The system checks consent automatically before every send and blocks non-consented contacts.
What is the difference between a campaign and a journey?
A campaign is a one-off broadcast (newsletter, announcement) sent to a list or segment. A journey is an automated multi-step sequence triggered by an event (new subscriber, ticket resolved, purchase) that sends messages over time.
Can customers unsubscribe themselves?
Yes. Every marketing email contains a one-click unsubscribe link (RFC 8058 compliant for Gmail and Yahoo). Clicking it immediately updates the contact consent record and adds them to the suppression list for that category.
Can I send from my own domain?
Yes. Set up a marketing subdomain (e.g., email.yourcompany.com) with the provided DNS records. Outbound marketing emails send from that domain, keeping your primary domain reputation separate from transactional traffic.
